It offers better lubrication and more resistance to rust than conventional galvanised steel doors and is thus perfect for coastal regions and harsher environmental conditions. 

These panels are moulded through an effective gravity casting process that forms up to 5 solid slats that we use to assemble your new roller shutter doors.

Aluzinc roller shutter doors come with slated or block inserts for either single or double garage doors. They are available in Brown, Bronze, Charcoal and Black with a Chromadek finish. 

Chromadek is a trademarked coating and painting system specially designed for the African sun. It provides additional protection against UV rays and is available in colours that optimally reflect heat.

Aluminium Roller Shutter Doors – Operation and Maintenance

All aluminium doors supplied by MRD, including those manufactured from Aluzinc material, are electrically operated with two remotes supplied that can easily attach to your keyrings. Manual push-up operation is also possible during times of power outages. 

Maintenance is very low on these materials and the doors are well insulated by means of a rubber insert on the bottom panels. The doors are highly reliable and ease of use is guaranteed for anyone that operates it.
